上帝是我们的避难所 /Tuhanlah Perlindunganku / Song Cover by Lester & Maria
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)
“You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.” (Deuteronomy 15:10)
“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” (Proverbs 11:25)
Tithing isn’t something you “ought” to do or “have” to do – it’s something you get to do. When people think about tithing, it can sometimes be with the less-than-excited attitude that tithing is something they are obligated to do.
But I want to encourage you to change your mindset, Instead of thinking of tithing as an act you have to do, consider tithing as something you joyfully get to do.
Joyful generosity is a gift. Why? Proverbs 11:24 says, “The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.”
When we think of ‘worship,’ our minds often turn to music and songs that we sing together on Sunday mornings. Yet, there is much more to worship than the music: two of the most important elements of worship are in our prayers and in our giving.

1) We believe that the Bible is divinely inspired by God. It is faultless and is the sole and final authority for all matters of our lives (2 Tim 3:16, 1 Cor 2:13).
2) We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God existing in three persons : Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (Mat 28:19, 2 Cor 13:14).
3) We believe that God has created man but man sinned and became spiritually corrupted. He is now unable to attain God’s righteousness as a result of that Fall (Rom 5:12,18).
4) We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of all men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He is totally God and yet, totally Man (Luke 1:26-35, John 1:14-18, Isa 7:14, 9:6).
5) We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day (1Cor 15:1-4, Rom 4:25).
6) We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven and that He is coming again a second time for His Church (John 14:2-3, 1 Thess 4:13-18).
7) We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the work of the cross (Eph 2:8-9, Heb 9:12,22).
8) We believe that water baptism by total immersion in the name of the eternal Godhead is necessary in order to fulfill the command of our Lord Jesus Christ (Mat 28:19, Acts 2:38, 19:1-6).
9) We believe in the baptism in / with the Holy Spirit as a real experience at salvation or after that. Believers can then speak in tongues as the Spirit gives them the utterance (Acts 2:1-4, 8:14-17, 10:44-46).
10) We believe that the operation of the gifts and the ministries of the Spirit that are listed in 1 Cor 12-14 and Eph 4 are still relevant for us today.
11) We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of purity and holiness in the fear of God (Eph 5:18, 2 Cor 6:14, 7:1).
12) We believe that miraculous physical healing and deliverance in the name of Jesus is still for us today (Acts 4:30, Rom 8:11, 1 Cor 12:9, James 5:14, Mark 16:17).
13) We believe in the taking of Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, for all born-again believers (1 Cor 11:28-32, Mat 26:26-28).
14) We believe that the Devil is a real spiritual person who will eventually be judged with his angels in the Lake of Fire (Mat 25:41, Rev 20:14-15).
15) We believe in eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the unrighteous (John 5:24, 3:16, Mark 9:43-48, 2 Thess 1:9, Rev 20:10-15).
16) We believe that there is one true universal Church that is made up of genuine believers. However, this one universal Church is composed of many local churches in different localities (Acts 15:22, Mark 9:38-40).
